Abstract
An efficient way to realize VLSI ASIC measurement and demonstration system is connect it to host PC. Interface circuit that manages data transaction to ASIC is necessary. Since designers cannot spend too much time just for interfacing, a straightforward yet performant I/O is needed. In this paper, three examples of in-house interface circuits are presented for ISA, Parallel, and USB.
