Abstract :
In this paper, a modified high-order Chua´s circuit is presented under the Lagrange stability conditions. Some complex dynamical behaviors such as chaos, bifurcation and periodic orbits of the circuit are investigated by means of bifurcation analysis. Moreover, by using the variable structure control technique, a control law depending on the equilibrium manifold is derived, which suppresses chaotic oscillations and guides the system trajectory to the equilibrium manifold. Numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
