Abstract :
The transient finite element analysis of an induction motor using Flux2D, a 2D finite element package with external circuit connections and electromechanical coupling features is presented in this paper. The transient analysis is performed for the starting of the motor with no load until it reaches the synchronous speed and then a rated load is applied
