Abstract :
This paper presents a tool to model decision problems that are characterized by a hierarchical structure of goals subject to general constraints. This tool is specially suitable for modeling multiobjective configuration problems under uncertainty. Fuzzy set theory is used to consider the subjective and uncertain aspects inherent in decision problems. A best first search heuristic approach allows for fast determination of feasible solutions which are oriented towards the best compromise solution by means of a specific compound index that takes into account and weights the multiple criteria. A particular application-fuzzy multiobjective distribution planning problem-is dealt with in this paper, showing the capabilities of this new tool
