Abstract :
In double-cage induction motors the determination of rotor parameters is laborious and lacks in precision when performed by analytical methods. The main problem is the correct evaluation of the mutual inductance between inner and outer cages and the skin-effect in rotor bars. In this work a finite element analysis is applied in order to obtain more accurate parameters
