Abstract :
In peer-to-peer streaming system, multicast tree construction method has considerable influence on network load. Current available strategies have not used network resource economically, or approach network resource friendship at the cost of flexibility. With consideration of transmission delay between peers, network friendly tree is proposed in this paper. In this strategy, new peers connect to the peer-to-peer streaming system with efforts to minimize additional transmission delays. According to the simulation experimental results, the proposed strategy network friendly tree works well.
