Abstract :
A new electro-hydraulic servo valve based on magnetic shape memory alloys was proposed in this paper and complete structure of the valve is established. In addition, the open loop transfer function of the new servo valve is written. The proposed servo valve has ascendant performance compared with conventional ones because new materials are applied. In order to improve control performance, neural network inverse system is adopted to control the valve to solve the problem of high nonlinearity and uncertainty. Utilizing the SIMULINK module of MATLAB 7.0, we established the control diagram, and the simulation results show significant advantages compared with conventional control methods.
