  • Abstract
    Each protection relay in the power system needs to be coordinated with the relays protecting the adjacent equipment. The overall protection coordination is very complicated. In this paper, the basic concept and principle of online coordination protective relaying system are presented. Based on DL/T 667- 1999, IEC 61970 and relevant standards, an implementation method for online coordination protective relaying system is put forward, and a protective relaying synthesis manage system has been designed. This system can accommodate to the constant change of the function modes of protective relaying and may also re-coordination and checkout the operation characteristics of relay protection. The relevant calculation online and control may be realized. In addition, the system can manage the protection devices and fault information availably, it is important for the operation dispatcher to cope with the electric power system fault and abnormal operation condition.
