  • Abstract
    In this paper, we analyze the dynamic behavior of semiconductor laser amplifier (SLA) using numerical solution of the carrier and field rate equations. From the numerical results we obtain the gain dynamics, the carrier density evolution, and the transient response of SLA for an input optical pulse and different bias currents.
