Abstract :
A floating attachment mode is presented which allows the accurate and versatile analysis of wire antennas attached to arbitrary surfaces using the method of moments (MoM). This attachment mode is overlapped to the surface modes, overcoming the restriction of having to place the connection point at a vertex of the surface faceted mesh. This allows the antennas to be located anywhere on the surface, even near or at geometrical discontinuities.
