  • Abstract
Rollover is a one of the major accidents on transportation vehicles. Based on the early-warning monitoring on the rollover angle and the rollover angular velocity in vehicle operation process, this paper established a rollover vehicle model of stable steering, and researched the influence of vehicle rollover angle and rollover angular velocity threshold caused by lateral acceleration in the steady-state steering situation. The results indicated that vehicle dynamic rollover angle and rollover angular velocity threshold decreased as the lateral acceleration increased. The research provided the evidence of setting of rollover early warning threshold, and possessed great significance in improving accurate early-warning and reducing similar accidents.
