Abstract :
In order to study the impact on the river pollution to the riverside water resource, we chose the fine sand from WeiHe River to make an experiment of sand box indoor. We have simulated different cases that the river and groundwater infiltrated by a unified curve to the river “disconnect” groundwater. Accordingly we found the law of the impact on the river pollution to the riverside water resource. It was found that with the falling of water table, river and groundwater will lose the unified infiltration curve as well as the saturated hydraulic connection. The speed of pollutant reaching the pumping well from the river does not accelerate as the groundwater table deceases, the unsaturated zone has a function like obstruction.
