Abstract
Water quality assessment is a vague or fuzzy category with multiple indicators and classes. In recent years, inherent uncertainties and subjectivities of water environmental problems have been increasingly dealt by using fuzzy mathematics methods on the basis of Artificial Intelligence. In this paper, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and information entropy method was presented to assess the water quality of Baiyangdian. This new method is applied for water quality evaluation of five monitoring sections in Baiyangdian. Compared with the original evaluation method, the proposed method is more practical, reasonable and acceptable.
