Abstract :
In this work we explore the correlation among the wavelet coefficients, when used in the method of moments (MoM) to solve scattering problems. We then utilize it to ease the solution procedure. The basic idea is to predict some of the coefficients, based on previously computed ones, and thus save in computation resources. Various options for exploiting the correlation among the coefficients are discussed, and examples are given that demonstrate the viability of this method.
