Abstract :
A model with common cause failure and human error of a two non-identical unit parallel system was established in this paper. The failed system is repaired back to its normal operating state immediately. On the basis of the assumption that the repair rate of the failed system is not a constant, we study that the C0 semigroup generated by the system operator is quasi-compact and is also irreducible by analyzing its spectrum character and its essential growth bound. Thus we can obtain stability analysis of the studied repairable system.
