Abstract :
This paper presents a fully-differential OPAMP for the switched-capacitor multi-bit delta-sigma modulator. The OPAMP has been designed using Silterra 0.18-μm CMOS technology for operation at 1.8-V. Simulation shows that the OPAMP is capable to give mid-band gain as high as 76.59 dB and the unity gain frequency is 284.1-MHz while consuming only 1.618-mW of power. At 1.2-pF capacitive load, the OPAMP archives a 73.61 phase margin and increases as the load decreases.
