Abstract :
Discusses the people issues which are concerned with a project to develop a major world-wide software system, the management of change in implementing the new system and the introduction of a new business process that was facilitated by the system. The development and implementation of any major computer system is a project that is concerned mainly with people issues. The resulting business process change is also a significant people issue. The tasks are not easy, but investment in people pays off
