Abstract :
The problem of static routing and wavelength assignment in WDM all-optical networks without wavelength conversion is addressed. A pan-European network has been studied, and we compare the performances of three different algorithms on it. Two of them give satisfying results, and we analyze when it´s suitable to use the one rather than the other.
