Abstract :
Concerns 3D reconstruction from the 2D real image formed in a camera when mirrors are used so that both the object and reflections of it are viewed by the camera. The mirrors generate symmetric relations between direct images and mirror images. Correspondences between the direct image and the mirror images are found, and the 3D shape is reconstructed by a plane symmetry recovery method using the vanishing point. The use of several mirrors eliminates the occlusion that occurs when only one mirror is used
