Abstract :
In this paper MGTI´s1filtering properties are presented. The properties of this filter are investigated by parameter changes such as: GTR front surface mirror reflectance ρ, GTR spacing d and interferometer arm length difference ΔL. Center-wavelength tunability and variable bandwidth capability are the characteristics, which are investigated. This structure can be used as an interleaver with low insertion loss, simple controllable and temperature indepence. Two structures of MGTI interleaver with one and two GTE2are investigated and simulation results for the two structures are presented. It has been shown that for interleaver with two GTEs the 0.5 dB pass band and 25 dB stop band are improved.
