Abstract :
This paper gives the characteristics of single-phase earth fault and ferro-resonance, then proposes two methods that adopt restricting the recovery rate of fault phase voltage to replace the Peterson-coil: using metal-oxide nonlinear resistance to extinguish electric arc, or making the fault phase metallic grounded, then the ferro-resonance which is more harm to system is changed into metallic grounded fault. After that, this paper proposes that changes the parameter of system instantaneously, as adding fault information to select out fault line. At last, this paper gives a design of the device based on PC104, and introduces its action mechanism and diagram. It also gives the hardware scheme and software design: including the criterion of fault judgment and algorithm of line selection, extinguishing the electric arc and the realization of line selection.
