Abstract :
This review attempted to address the recent and current developments in dynamic membrane bio-reactor (DMBR), including membrane formation mechanisms, filtration models, and manipulation principle. In this paper, the effect of support module, water head drop (WHD), mixed liquor suspended solids (MLSS), and operation parameters on the filtration performance were reviewed. Lastly, the perspectives of the technology in the coming years were also addressed.
