Author :
Rizvi, Mustafa M.
Abstract :
The paper suggests speaker dependent primary and secondary acoustic cues in approximants, focusing on the Urdu language. An experiment was conducted on samples from seven speakers. The data was collected and analyzed to identify the speakers. The paper also suggests various cues, which can possibly identify speakers. It also sheds some light on the problems faced during the experiments and the after effects of an increase in the number of speakers.
