Abstract :
An efficient method is presented for the analysis of the transient response of extended radial distribution networks during start-up. The computer program developed can be used to analyze any type of MV or LV distribution feeder that composes the distribution network, in order to examine the reaction of protective devices, the effect of voltage dips, etc
