Application of scale and corrosion inhibitors technology in the circulating water system of oil-gas processing plant

Abstract :
On-line cleaning, prefilming and adding inhibitors of corrosion and scale technology to circulating water system in oil-gas processing plant was introduced. Different corrosion inhibitors and scale inhibitors were screened and the compatibility of the agents was also studied. The organic acid cleaning agent KL-111 was used, the scale was cleaned out; the prefilming agent KL-701 and corrosion and scale inhibitor KW-201 were selected, the calcium sedimentation and the corrosion of equipments reduced and reached national standard. The experiment and practice results showed that the technology was good for running the circulating water system effectively in a long period with suitable agents. Also, it was one of the most indispensable links for running circulating water system normally.
