Abstract :
The tour-inspecting is one of the important jobs for assuring the safety and the lowest fault rate of transmit electricity equipments, and improving the reliability of power supply. The traditional manual wire checking has a lot of defects. This paper brings up a mobile wire checking system, which combines the technology of GPS with embedded GIS. It provides worker with query working plan, device information, and GIS information, records the state of defect device and patrol instance. The system has functions of planning path, reporting data, monitoring the working order, summarization of data; it can effectively check patrolling work status, find wire defect situation. This system overcomes the defect of traditional manual mode and assures that the transmit electricity equipment be safely operated with higher efficiency and lower fault rate.
