Abstract :
An Ultra wideband Monopole Square-shaped dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is proposed. The square-shaped DRA is excited with monopole. An impedance bandwidth ranging from 5.2GHz to 13.5 GHz is achieved. The gain of the proposed antenna varies from 3.88 to 5.27 dBi over the operating band.
