Abstract :
The low-voltage power distribution network is characterized in the frequency band from 0.5 MHz to 30 MHz for broadband powerline communications (PLC). Therefore the different cables that constitute the network are modelled by their per-unit-length parameters. These cable models are combined with the network topology to derive the PLC channel transfer function
