Abstract :
The paper describes an approach to achieve the overall optimization of a series-parallel hybrid electric powertrain taking all components into account. This optimization will be based on multi-criteria such as the weight, the losses, etc; multi-constraints such as geometric constraints, electrical constraints, etc; multi-physics modeling such as mechanical parameters, electrical parameters, magnetic parameters, etc. This optimization strategy enables to carry out simultaneously each powertrain component sizing, considering global constraints. The two originalities of this paper are the modeling of the Ravigneaux gear and the systemic optimization.
