Abstract
A modular lab is described which is oriented to teaching power electronics. Almost all the nonautonomous phase converters composed of diodes and thyristors can be studied. This lab is organized in such a way that control and firing circuits, and power devices are totally separated and mounted in different kits, permitting visualization of the several stages of a converter
