Abstract :
In the experiment, UASB and ABR as the research objects, load and alkalinity as the start-up conditions, COD removal rate and other indicators as monitoring indicators, investigated the effect of load and alkalinity for the start-up process of anaerobic reactors. Test results showed that, UASB could achieve quick start under the conditions of 2.0kg/(m3·d)), influent alkalinity 1500mg/L, and it could operate stable in low alkalinity condition of about 1000mg/L after start successfully. ABR could achieve quick start under the conditions of volume load 4.0kg/(m3·d)), influent alkalinity 1000mg/L, and it could operate stable in low alkalinity condition of about 500mg/L after start successfully.
