Abstract
This paper presents a method for finding the two-dimensional direction of arrival (DOA) of a single short pulse. The method is based on a waveform reconstruction using complex antenna factors (CAFs) with incident angle dependency. In order to apply the technique to an arbitrary polarized pulse, three dipole antennas are adopted as an antenna system instead of two square loop antennas already reported. The results of a simulation and an experiment show the possibility to use the dipole antenna complex in the two-dimensional DOA finding.
