Abstract
The advanced treatment of secondary biochemical effluent from iron and steel wastewater was treated by a Continuous Membrane Filtration (CMF) system, and the related water quality and system operation parameters in treatment process was monitored and analysed. The results of experiment showed that CMF has high efficiency and stable running during the long treatment process and has a good effect on removing of COD, NTU, SS and so on, it could be used for the pretreatment process of reverse osmosis and the quality of the treated water was stable. The technology will have extensively applied in advanced treatment and reuse of iron and steel wastewater.
