Abstract
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) has been mandated as a standard feature in a broad range of vehicles [1]. The demand for lower cost and higher integration continues to increase the performance requirements for many of the system´s components. In particular, the trend towards placing the Inertial Measurement Unit inside the engine compartment requires operation under harsh conditions, while the costly options of shielding and vibration damping are limited.
