Abstract :
The feedback formulation, which uses graphs to model multiple interactions between objects and sums of cylindrical modes to express electromagnetic fields, is used to study several objects that have been attached to form a larger scatterer. Thus, large scatterers can be segmented into smaller ones, and the modal expressions for the fields reduce the dimensions of the matrix involved in the problem. Results are presented for two rectangular cylinders, the scattered field of which was studied when the incident field was a TM (transverse magnetic) plane wave.<>
