Abstract :
A number of procedures are described for the identification of sticking bits in a digital data bus. Online bus data may be used in these and they are suitable for use against intermittent faults. The methods are essentially probabilistic, and expressions are given for various probabilities involved together with mean value and variance functions for the number of fault bus words required to accomplish a diagnosis. Numerical performance data are also provided
