Title :
Recent advances in the stabilized nickel-zinc battery systems
Author_Institution :
Electrochimica Corp., Redwood City, CA, USA
Abstract :
Recent progress and further development of the nickel-oxide-zinc secondary battery system utilizing the Electrochimica developed stabilized chemistry are presented. Rate capabilities are compared at three temperature levels down to -20°F. The development of small capacity cells in the 2-5 Ah capacity range for instrumentation and consumer electronics is discussed
