Abstract
The present work describes the procedure for the characterization and implementation of a pulse forming network (PFN) for a surveillance Radar used by the Brazilian Navy. The PFN components have been thoroughly characterized and a new PFN has been built and tested. It is now in full operation on board of a frigate.
