Abstract
Pervasive technology and communication is improving our life and an interesting case study is represented by domotics. Indeed, innovative technology for home automation can be designed to sense our behavior and proactively respond to it. To this aim, we developed a distributed application exploiting the Bluetooth technology to locate a person wearing a mobile device (e.g., a smartphone) among a predefined set of rooms. This information is then utilized to automatically reroute the output of an audio player from one room to another, according to the person´s movements over time.
