Abstract :
This paper describes the design, considerations and application on the more electric concept in an experimental aircraft. The main goal is to replace the loosy and inefficient mechanical link in an existing experimental aircraft with a more efficient and state of the art fly by wire system. Special care is taken in the fly by wire design to obtain a modular system capable to be upgraded for future automatic pilot capabilities. A composite two-seat experimental aircraft with a payload of 650kg, completely manufactured and designed in Mexico, is taken as a benchmark.
