  • Abstract
    Hydrological serial must be Normal distribution in course of change point detection. Based on the data from observation stations in 1960-2005, Normal distribution characteristics of temperature, precipitation and runoff were analyzed in the main headstreams and the water consumption district of the Tarim river by coefficient of skewness and kurtosis. The results show that when significant level satisfies with 0.05, the hydrological serials of the headstreams and water consumption district mostly were satisfy with the testing standard by originality serials or transformation serials. Change point of hydrological serials can be detected by normal distribution of the temperature, precipitation and runoff serials.
