Abstract :
Currently, the evaluation of the aging process of HV assets becomes of high strategic importance, where technical aspects as well as economical and social issues have to be taken into consideration. After a general review of the information strategy applied for reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) the submitted paper deals more in detail with an advanced tool for computer-based PD monitoring of HV apparatus in service.
