Abstract
In this paper dielectric spectroscopy investigation of multistress aged full-sized model cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation in time and frequency domain are reported. The results expound those frequency domain measurements of the capacitance and the dissipation factor exhibit distinctive synergism in case of threshold exceeding aging parameters. Moreover the evaluation of time domain experiments recording the isothermal depolarisation current can clarify interaction between the factors of influence further to a certain extent.
