Abstract
This study proposes a membership function for two-dimensional variables. In view of some kind of data of one-dimensional variables, we find it is fuzzy due to the linguistic description, periodically defined or not complete. After implementation of the fuzzy model, we make the kind of data reasonable interpolated. Furthermore, we extend the approach with a membership function for two-dimensional variables. This extension proves itself a very useful tool for approximate reasoning
