Investigation and research of the greening status of the public space of Zhongshan Commercial Area in Wuhan

The public space of the commercial area serves as an important part of the city, undertaking a large amount of business activities. The greening status of the public space in the commercial area also greatly affects people´s use and activities in the public space. Zhongshan Commercial Area of Wuhan is the most intensive and has the longest history in Wuhan, boasting great research values. This thesis surveys the current status of the street trees, greening of the plaza, greening of the street and greening of Pedestrian Street of the public space in Zhongshan commercial area of Wuhan. It analyzes the existing problems and countermeasures, and raises practical suggestions in view of its reform.
