Abstract :
Stability of a fuzzy system controlled by a fuzzy observer-controller will be investigated in this paper. In general, the stability condition is a common solution of [p(p+1)+2p]/2 linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) where p is the number of rules of the fuzzy plant model. In this paper, the number is reduced to 2p+l. Furthermore, gains of the fuzzy observer-controller can be derived from the solution of the LMIs. Separation principle of the fuzzy observer-controller will be proved
