Abstract :
This paper presents a modularization method for the whole dynamic process simulation of hydroelectric generators. The module base is physical subsystems-oriented developed to be composed of the modules of the synchronous machine, AVR, hydro-turbine and it´s speed governor, which can be used for the electromagnetic transients and electro-mechanical process simulation of a hydroelectric generator, The results obtained by this method show good agreements with those by rigorous method and PSASP. The module base can be conveniently used for the development of the simulation model of large-scale hydropower plant.
