Abstract :
This paper introduces the accidents that are prone to happen in the engine bench test and the need for real-time monitoring of the engine test, explains the working principle of the real-time monitoring and early-warning system, analyses the classification of engine faults and why they generate, builds the real-time monitoring and early-warning system of the engine bench test, determinates the type of system´ signal and the means of collection as well as the location of the sensors, and provides a measuring method for vibration threshold of the engine´s normal state. Finally, through an example, the paper verifies that the system can effectively monitor the running of engines and protect the bench by setting up an early-warning signal when the fault occurs.
