Abstract :
Generally, in substation operation ,when the system goes wrong, much of switch motion information, fault information and alarm information will be transferred from the protection devices to the SCADA system, most of them are correct while some of them maybe wrong. It is a difficult task for the operator to pick out the wrong one among so much information. Substation fault diagnosis is proposed to resolve this problem. The main task of substation fault diagnosis is using those information to get the correct diagnosis result of the fault section. Through the substation fault diagnosis, the operator can quickly grasp the essential information and take right actions in time. This paper use Petri nets theories to build the model of fault diagnosis and analyze the circuit breaker information and fault information of protection devices when power system is in fault states, the purpose is to get the right fault information through diagnosis.
