Abstract :
Rule of ten years walnut water consumption that irrigated by different micro-irrigation method was studied based on water balance principle and field experiment. As far as water consumption was concerned that average daily water consumption change rule of mature walnut which irrigated by micro-irrigation method is different from ones that irrigated by surface irrigation method. It can be seen obviously that micro-irrigation shows double-peak curve and surface irrigation shows single-peak curve., Peak value of double-peak curve appeared at June 10th and August 20th. accumulation of water consumption changes from 585.6mm to 840.3mm, reduced 15.4 to 41.0 percent than surface irrigation treatment. Walnut yield in the treatment of micro-irrigation changes from 4204.5kg/hm2 to 5743.5kg/hm2, -24.1 to 3.4 percent higher than surface irrigation for 5550kg/hm2, water use efficiency is from 3.5 to 28.6 percent. Suggest that circle and three laterals layout is appropriate in matured walnut irrigation under micro-irrigation condition.
